Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. - Habakkuk . 2:2

"Without a vision the people perish", proclaims the writer of the Proverbs. Without foresight, insight and direction to an expected end, no substantial accomplishment can be achieved. If goals are not set they cannot be realized or maintained.

Without a vision men remain in the darkness of night.

The prophet Habakkuk received the distinct command from the Lord as a watchmen for his people and the Lord answers him "Write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run that readeth it."

We live in a fast paced world, people are going to and fro. In this highly technological world, knowledge has increased but evil has intensified. Wars and natural disasters everywhere, but the gospel must be preached globally, as the Lord tarries his coming. Let us be sober, being mindful of God's purpose and plan for this world and our individual lives.

Let us grab hold of the vision the Lord has for the church universal, and run with it. "For the vision is for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." Hab. 2:3

Beloved, "trust in the Lord and do good, so shalt thou dwell in the land and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in him and He shall give you the desires of your heart." Ps. 3-4

May the Lord bless and keep you, cause his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you, lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace as we go forward in him.

In His grace...
